There was a thirteen minute version of this episode, made for BBC America.   It was broadcast on the 28 th of October.   The tape was also sent out as a 'taster', so we were able to get previews in the press for a change.

The footage of President Kennedy's assassination from the Michael Moore sketch was taken from the 'Tikka to Ride' episode from series 7 of 'Red Dwarf'.

This was the first episode with the non-topicals directed by Ben Fuller.

Nev was Michael Moore's chicken!   And writer John Finnemore also makes a cameo at the start of his 'West Wing' sketch.
