Dead Ringers was a popular impression-based sketch show that began on radio 4 in 2000, transferred to television in 2002 and ran until 2007. It chalked up eleven series on radio and seven series on television, plus a host of election specials, live performances and charity stuff.
It was, at its height, the highest rated comedy show on BBC2, topping four million viewers, and it won an armful of trophies, including a Sony Award, a British Comedy Award, a Political Studies award and many others. It was also jolly nice to work on.
We were chief writers on the show, and wrote large chunks of every episode, for both radio and TV.
